Research Area
- End of Life Lithium Ion Battery
- Recycling of critical minerals such as lithium, cobalt, nickel and other valuable metals from cathode materials of end of life lithium ion batteries
- Recycling of base and precious metals, PGM (platinum group metals) and rare earth elements from secondary metal resources of PCBs (printed circuit boards) and spent catalysts
- The study of alternative agents and biohydrometallurgy to develop sustainable hydrometallurgical processes
- The development of hydrometallurgical technology for economically and environmentally sustainable recovery of metals from low grade ores

- Feasibility studies of environmental friendly lixiviant, methanesulfonic acid(MSA) for recycling of critical minerals from EOL (End of life) LIB (Lithium Ion Battery)
